OUTspoken For Equality

OUTspoken For Marriage works to educate Western New York on the issues surrounding Marriage Equality. The Marriage Action Team also advocates for Marriage Equality in New York State. We are trying to pass the Marriage Equality Bill in New York State to not only recognize same-sex marriages from other jurisdictions but also to allow same-sex couples to marry in New York State and provide them with the same rights and privileges.

OUTspoken For Dignity works to ensure that no student is bullied based on race, creed, sexual orientation, weight, height, gender, social status, economic status, or any other factors which may cause such harassment in school. We advocate for New York State to pass the Dignity For All Students Act to protect all students in New York State from undeserved bullying and harassment.

OUTspoken For Gender Expression advocates for the passing of GENDA, the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act, in New York State. This would ensure that no person could be denied housing, a job, or any other basic necessity based on their perceived gender or their decided gender identity.
