Buffalo Community Forum "What's Next for New York?" Wednesday March 4th, 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Unity Church of Practical Christianity at 1243 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 14209 hosted by the Empire State Pride Agenda and the New York Civil Liberties Union. Information will be shared about the changed political landscape in Albany and how that will impact our work in the Buffalo region during the 2009 legislative session. Learn about the 3 major bills ESPA and other NY organizations are trying to pass in the state legislature: Dignity For All Students Act, GENDA, and the Marriage Equality Bill.

Big 80's Hair Ball Saturday March 7th starting at 8 p.m. at the Hamlin House on Franklin. $25.00 include 2 hours of open bar. Elders meetings are held every 2nd Sunday of the month @ 3 p.m. in the ground floor lunch room at Aids Community Services, 206 South Elmwood at Chippewa. (use the parking lot entrance) Meetings consist of a program and a potluck dinner. The focus of the group seeks to provide entertainment, information and camaraderie for GLBT seniors age 50 and over, although GLBTs and supporters of all ages are welcome. OLOC (Older Lesbians Organizing for Change) has come to Buffalo! A national group that fights ageism and invisibility and promotes consciousness raising and our herstories, each meeting is for women 60 and over and their partners of whatever age. Every meeting is the third Tuesday of the month at Pride Center on Trinity Place. And the time will continue to be at 10 am. Come to see for yourself if this is the sisterhood you are looking for. Be prepared for movies, activism, and process! Marjorie Norris will act as facilitator.

Gay Bingo, hosted by the fabulously slim Miss Gladys Over, every SECOND saturday of the month (May 10, Jun 14, off Jul & Aug, Sep 13, Oct 11, Nov 8, Dec 13, Jan 10, Feb 14, Mar 14, Apr 11) at St. John’s Grace Episcopal Church – Parish Hall located on the corner of Lafayette and Richmond (please park and enter on Lafayette Ave side). Doors open at 6PM, please arrive EARLY! – Bingo starts at 7PM, PLAY ALL THE GAMES for $20.00; bingo daubers & ‘extra’ game boards also available. Refreshments are provided, and there's a monthly raffle to benefit – persons living with HIV/AIDS, please bring in non-perishable food items (canned goods, pasta, etc.) and you will receive Special Raffle tickets for your donations….and the chance to win a special prize!

Monthly meetings will be held on the first Thursday of every month at El Museo from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Additional committee meetings will be held throughout the month as needed.
