Hudson Valley!!!
Hudson Valley made headlines in February and March of 2007 when they set up a display of "family album pages" at a  local Cosi Sandwich Shop.  Cosi, a long-time FAV of the LGBT community was approached by the Hudson Valley "chapter" of the Empire State Pride Agenda about hanging the exhibit. The local store manager gave approval.... but, suddenly, after a few calls from individuals (who think that only THEIR money spends in Cosi *this is the addition of the webmaster*) Cosi Corp freaked out and pulled the display down.
Oh... but there is more....
Word got out to the LGBT community.... hmmmm.... wonder how that happened.... and we sent a message to Cosi that we can spend our money ANYWHERE and will certainly spend it elsewhere (permanently) if they pull the exhibit of our families.
We had had an agreement. They would honor it or we would boycott Cosi's everywhere!
NOTHING is pissyer than a cranky queer with no caffeine.... just ask anyone who knows the person who typed this!
We were called to arms! We were ready!
Cosi rethought its stand and decided to "allow the exhibit to be rehung as long as it met Cosi's standards for color and symetry".

Whuuuu?

Ok, stand down you raging masses yearning to scream out in front of Cosi's, the air-raid sirens have ceased to blare out a call to arms.

The phenomenally patient Diana Wilkins rehung the exhibit under the watchful eye of Regional VP of Cosi, Robert Spiers... (see... no naked people having sex.... ) you will have to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for that stuff buddy....and now everyone is happy again.... except for Ms. Sparks who informed Cosi that she wouldn't be back until AFTER the display was taken down again. That is some dedication for ya, huh?....She also knows "personally" many ex-gays.

So, what was it that they were afraid for people to see?    Here are a few examples.....
Great Color....
Great Symetry.....

It has totally got our vote!
And Cosi still gets all those Pink Dollars!!!
